IP & Trademarks

The BetterCallClaude name, logo, and associated visual identity elements are trademarks of the BetterCallClaude Association. These marks are used to identify our organization, our software projects, and our services.

You may use the BetterCallClaude name and logo for the following purposes: referring to our organization in news articles and academic papers, linking to our website, using our logo in conference presentations and meetup materials when discussing our projects, and in forks of our software repositories where the fork clearly indicates it is a derivative work.

All permitted uses must not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation without written permission.

You may not use the BetterCallClaude name or logo: as part of your own product or service name, in a way that suggests endorsement or partnership without authorization, in connection with any unlawful activity, or in a manner that disparages or misrepresents the Association.

All software code published by the BetterCallClaude Association is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0). This license applies to the code, not to trademarks. You are free to fork, modify, and redistribute the code under the terms of AGPL-3.0.

Trademarks contained within the code (e.g., in documentation or branding files) remain the property of the Association and are not licensed under AGPL-3.0.

Our software may reference or integrate with third-party services and databases whose names and marks are the property of their respective owners. These references do not imply endorsement by the third parties, nor do they imply endorsement of the third parties by the Association.

The BetterCallClaude Association reserves the right to enforce its trademarks through appropriate legal channels. We prefer to resolve disputes amicably and will typically begin with a request to cease unauthorized use before pursuing legal action.
