By accessing or using the BetterCallClaude Association website, services, or open-source projects, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

The BetterCallClaude Association provides open-source software plugins for legal professionals, community governance, educational resources, and membership services. Our software is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0), not sold.

Membership services include voting rights at the General Assembly, access to member channels, and participation in governance processes.

3. User Obligations

Users of our software and services agree to: comply with all applicable laws, respect the rights of other users and contributors, not use our services for unlawful purposes, and not attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of our systems.

Members additionally agree to act in good faith in governance processes and to uphold the values of transparency and community participation.

4. Intellectual Property

All software code released by the BetterCallClaude Association is licensed under AGPL-3.0. This means you are free to use, modify, and distribute the code, provided that any distributed derivative works are also licensed under AGPL-3.0.

The BetterCallClaude name, logo, and associated trademarks are the property of the Association and are not covered by AGPL-3.0. See our IP & Trademarks page for usage guidelines.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our software and services are provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that our software will be error-free, secure, or suitable for any particular legal purpose. Always verify AI-generated outputs against primary legal sources.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the BetterCallClaude Association and its contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our software or services. This includes damages for loss of data, profits, or legal outcomes.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
